Internship: The Walt Disney Company

Disney Cast Member | The Walt Disney Company, Orlando, FL, June 2019—March 2020

I worked as a Cast Member for The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida where I delivered exceptional Guest service for high safety-critical attractions, such as Rock n’ Roller Coaster and Rise of Resistance.

During my program, I was selected to work for the opening team as a Cast Member for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. While there, I was selected among 80+ Cast Members for the Good Morning America filming of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge experience.

The work I did at The Walt Disney Company provided the foundation of my Theme Park industry experience. While there, I participated in several independent outreach opportunities, including a personal tour of Epcot with a Disney Imagineer and mentorship with one of the lead Animator’s for Aladdin.

At the end of my Internship, I was offered a coveted Seasonal position for Rise of the Resistance, which I accepted and worked on an “as-needed” basis until the shutdown in March 2020.
