Internship: Universal Creative
Concept Architecture Intern | Universal Creative, Orlando, FL
January 2020—August 2020
At Universal, we utilized storytelling during the entire creative design process. I worked in the Concept Architecture group with Universal Creative where I was responsible for developing creative and innovative architectural concepts, designs and plans for multimillion-dollar projects implemented by Universal Creative to support the development and construction of new resorts, themed destinations, attractions, and renovations across all Universal Parks and Resorts. My vast knowledge of theme park technologies included ride, A/V, robotics, engineering and various show systems.
I developed drawings, sketches, master plans, modeling and creative design and planning solutions during the Blue Sky and Concept Development phases of work. My main tools were AutoCAD, 3-D modeling tools such as Sketch Up and other tools to support creative project development.
I partnered with Architectural and Engineering firms to convey the design intent. My work ensured that the designs proposed were feasible and construct-able projects to the project program, and maintained the creative intent and schedule and budget requirements.
